BIBLE CLASS: Following the service this morning at Zion, we will continue to look at the most detailed prophecy in Scripture, which is found in Daniel 11:21-45.
NURSING HOME SERVICES: The service at the Wilber Care Center will be at 10:15 this morning. We will have our service at Eventide in Crete on Monday at 10:00.
CAMM OFFERING: There will be a door offering this morning at St. John to support the Central Africa Medical Mission.
NELHS BOARD: The NELHS Board of Directors will meet this afternoon at 3:30 in Waco.
CHAPEL: Pastor Kahrs will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran School on Tuesday morning to lead their chapel service.
CONFIRMATION CLASS: Our last Confirmation Class will be this Wednesday at 6:30.
ASCENSION DAY SERVICE: There will be a joint service at Zion on Thursday at 7:30. There is a sign-up sheet to bring desserts.
BIBLE CLASS: There will be Bible Class next Sunday at St. John, beginning at 10:00. As we continue our study of the “I am” statements of Jesus, we are reminded that Jesus is the Light of the Word, the Resurrection and the Life, and the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
NELHS GRADUATION: The graduation service at NELHS will take place Sunday, May 17, at 2:00.
NEW BEGINNINGS: A HOME FOR MOTHERS: There are several baby bottles at the back of the church at Zion. These may be filled with an offering to support New Beginnings: A Home For Mothers. There is more information by the bottles. They will be collected on May 31.
SERVICE TIME CHANGE: St. John will resume their summer service schedule on Sunday, May 24. Services will begin at 10:00.
CAMP JEFFERSON: Registration for WELS Youth and Teen Camp Jefferson is now open and will last until June 28th. You can register via their website - welscampjefferson.org - for both camps. WELS Youth Camp Jefferson takes place July 10th-12th and is for campers going into 3rd-8th grade. WELS Teen Camp Jefferson takes place July 12th-15th and is for teens going into 9th grade up until age 19. Adult and Teen volunteer opportunities are available.
