CHRISTMAS PRACTICE: Practice for Zion’s Christmas Eve service will follow the service this morning.
CHRISTMAS BAGS: If you would like to donate for the purchase of items that are in the Christmas bags that are distributed on Christmas Eve at Zion, please see Jacob Kapke.
NURSING HOME SERVICES: The service at the Wilber Care Center will be at 10:15 this morning. We will have our service at Tabitha in Crete on Monday at 10:00.
BIBLE CLASS: We will continue our Bible Class this morning before the service at St. John this morning. As we continue our study of the book of Daniel, we will focus our attention on Daniel 7, where we find the account of Daniel’s dream of four beasts, which prophesied kingdoms that would rise and fall and one that is still in existence today.
SAVANNAH PINES: Pastor Kahrs will be at the Savannah Pines Retirement Community in Lincoln this afternoon at 1:30.
CHRISTMAS SERVICE: St. John’s Christmas service will be this Tuesday at 7:30.
CONFIRMATION CLASS: Confirmation Class will not meet this week or the next.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE: Zion’s Christmas service will be this Wednesday at 6:30.
CHRISTMAS DAY SERVICES: The service at Zion will be at 8:30. St. John’s service will be at 10:00.
NEW YEAR’S EVE SERVICE: There will be a joint service at Zion at 7:00. Holy Communion will be offered during the service.
NOMINATIONS: The following have been nominated for positions on the church council at Zion: Elder: Stewart Huneke and Don Kracke; Chairman: Russ Schuerman; Treasurer: Kevin Howat; Financial Secretary: Eric Kracke; Parish Education: Caden Kapke.
We thank these men for their willingness to serve.
ANNUAL MEETINGS: The annual voters’ meetings for Zion and St. John will follow their respective services on January 11.
